My Story

A little sweet. A little spicy. And a whole lot of sass.

All About the Sass started the way a lot of good Southern stories do — with food, family, and somebody saying, “You need to make this again.”

After trying jalapeño jelly at a Christmas party, I decided I wanted to make my own. I started experimenting in my kitchen, playing with fresh fruit, peppers, sweetness and heat until I found combinations I loved. I’m not much for leaving well enough alone, so one flavor became another…and another…and before long, I had family and friends asking when I was making more.

That’s when I realized this might be more than just something I enjoyed making.

All About the Sass was born.

The name fits the jelly, but if you know me, you probably know it fits the woman making it, too. I believe life is better with a little personality. I like things colorful, a little unexpected, and never boring — and that’s exactly what I wanted these jellies to be.

Every flavor combines real fruit with peppers to create that perfect balance of sweet and heat. Peach, pineapple, blackberry, mango, jalapeño, habanero — some are sweeter, some have more kick, but every jar is made to bring something different to the table.

And these aren’t just breakfast jellies. Pour one over cream cheese and grab the crackers. Brush it over chicken or pork. Add it to a charcuterie board. Use it as a glaze, a dipping sauce, or find your own favorite way to eat it. Around here, a jar has been known to disappear pretty quickly once the cream cheese comes out.

But All About the Sass is about more than jelly.

It’s about making something people are excited to put on their own table — and something good enough that they immediately think of someone they want to share it with.

Because around here, feeding people is one of the ways we love them.

So whether you like yours sweet with a little kick or hot enough to make you sit up and pay attention, there’s a jar with your name on it.
